Try restarting your computer. Dragon NaturallySpeaking Version 11/Dragon Medical Practice Edition seems to become resistant to the “Choose (1-9)” command within the Correction dialogue box on occasion.
The main reason for this symptom is a lack of available virtual memory. It is possible there is a hardware issue (memory not seated firmly, bad memory or a memory leak), software performance issue (Windows may require a reinstall), or another drain on your system as a result of other applications. A PC tune-up, upgrade or even replacement may be in order.
However, you may also alleviate this annoying symptom by restarting (not just relogging) your computer every day (twice a day if PC specs are lower or you have high demands of your system) to maintain an effectively functioning system. Again, if restarting does not improve the symptoms, look towards hardware and/or resource draining applications.
